7/26/14 7:09 PM

I was due July 30, 2014. On July 25 I went in for my 39 week appointment and my Doctor stripped my membrane. She told me I should go into labor on my own within 24-48 hours. Exactly 12 hours later at 2:30 AM on July 26, 2014 I was going into labor. After 2 1/2 hours of timing my contractions and in some pretty bad pain, we called Dr. Robert, and she said "Yep, go to the hospital. Let's have a baby today!" We grabbed my bag, hopped in the car and headed to Baylor.

We arrived at the hospital around 6:00 AM.

When I arrived at the hospital I was dilated to almost a 4. I did not want to get my epidural yet so I walked up and down the halls, and bounced/moved around on the workout bouncy ball- and I must say that was a life saver! When I was dilated to almost a 6 around 11 AM, I decided why put myself through any more pain? And got the epidural. It was not scary at all, and I was able to get some rest!

My Doctor came in around 6:45 PM, had me start pushing and at 7:09 PM i was holding my precious baby boy. I only pushed for 12 minutes! Yes, I like to brag about that. I felt like Superwoman.

Jace (born at 7:09) weighed 7 lbs 9 oz - pretty cool huh?!

Snuggled up on Daddy- his favorite place to be.

Proud Mommy & Daddy

Little toes!

Ready to go home and meet the doggies!
